‘I’m Not Crazy About Awards At This Moment’- Dadie Opanka
Rapper Dadie Opanka, whose real name Armstrong Affum has said in a new interview that unlike his colleagues who are so obsessed with awards, he’s not making that as his focus now.
He told DJ Nyaami in an interview on SVTV Africa that, even though award is good and it’s to appreciate one’s hard work, award is a secondary priority for him.
“Award is good even though it’s no that serious. As a human being, awards make you feel good and gives you and the fans some bragging rights but me personally, award is a secondary priority for me”
Opanka further advised advised his fellow musicians not to focus on awards but work hard and feed their fans with good music and let their fans be the ultimate judge.
Meanwhile the Tema-base rapper is one of the artistes billed to perform at this year’s edition of the Ghana Meets Naija concert which is going down live at the at the Accra International Conference Centre on June 8.
